1. Who we are

These Terms govern your use of the Fix It Once+ mobile and web application ("App") provided by Fix It Once Handyman Services ("we", "us"). Contact: Fixitonce941@gmail.com · 941-315-0317 · Venice, Florida.

2. What the App does

The App lets you request handyman services, upload photos and a description of the job, receive a free estimate, and pay for completed work. Bookings are subject to scheduling availability in our service area (Venice, Sarasota, North Port, Englewood, FL).

3. Your account

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You agree to give us accurate contact and address information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.

4. Estimates and payment

Estimates are provided in good faith and may change once work begins if conditions on-site differ from what was described.
You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide via Stripe for completed work and any agreed deposits.
Sales tax is added where required by Florida law.

5. Cancellations

You may cancel a booking at no charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start. Cancellations inside 24 hours may incur a trip fee equal to our standard service-call rate.

6. Workmanship & warranty

We warrant our labor for 30 days from completion. Parts and materials carry only the manufacturer's warranty. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, normal wear, or work performed by others after we complete the job.

7. Your responsibilities

Provide safe access to the work area.
Disclose known hazards (electrical, structural, pests, mold) before work begins.
You own — or have permission from the owner of — the property where the work is performed.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use the App to request illegal work, harass our staff, upload content that infringes someone else's rights, or attempt to interfere with the App's security. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Quoted prices in the App are estimates, not binding contracts, until both parties confirm scope and schedule.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, our total liability for any claim arising from the App or services booked through it is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific job at issue. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sarasota County, Florida.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
